Day Four and Five
Day four was a bit of a wash out so there weren’t any pictures taken. Had a birthday party at the house and played some games. We also went out and played mini golf on day four. One day five we went down to Jockey’s Ridge and climbed the sand dunes. We jumped over to Manteo and had lunch at an old favorite, Poor Richards. Next stop was Pea Island. The wind was wild which made walking the beach treacherous, but I’m glad we made it back.
We capped the night off with watching the sun set over the sound.
Day Two
The day started sunny so we were able to get some beach time, but the rains moved in and washed out the afternoon. Everyone still had fun at the house hanging with friends. It stopped raining for a while in the evening so we got in a long beach walk.
OBX Day One
The first day always consists of a lot of wandering around. Waiting. 4 PM can’t come soon enough. 4 PM is the official check in time. We went to the waterfront shops and had a great lunch at Duck Deli. Walk the lighthouse, but didn’t go up this time.
